The CV Builder is available for you to use to construct a CV. You will need to fill in the fields that are appropriate for your education and experience. Please note:

• If you do not have something to enter in a category, leave it blank.
   

• When you are finished, click the “Submit” button at the top or bottom of the CV Builder.
   

• Follow the instructions, and the CV Builder will generate a CV in Rich Text Format (.rtf), which can be further edited in most word processing software. 

Upon form submission, depending on your browser, you will see different messages:

·        The Windows Explorer user sees “RIGHT CLICK HERE to view your CV file or right-click for more options.” You will see a “Save As” box open, and you can rename it, if you choose, and then save it to your computer.

·        The Firefox user sees “CLICK HERE to view your CV file or right-click for more options.” NOTE: When you click, you may see that the "OK" button is grayed out. This appears to a bug in some versions of Firefox. However, if you click the "OK" button twice, it should save the file.

You can open your CV in your word processing software, or you can save it to your computer. You can rename it if you choose, and then save it to your computer.

If you have an addition to your CV later, you can add lines in word processing software, rather than starting from the beginning with the CV Builder. If you save it in your word processing software after editing, as a text file (.txt), you will not retain formatting. It is best to save it as an .rtf or .doc file, in order for most employers to read it. You can then upload it with the Document Manager in your profile in PedJobs.
